Lawrence Buterbaugh Obituary
Lawrence Jay Buterbaugh, born on November 29, 1959, in Portage County, Ohio, passed away on January 3, 2025, in Akron, Ohio.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Iona Buterbaugh. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Crystal (Swartout) Buterbaugh; his children, Jessica (Keith) Ferguson and Jay Buterbaugh; and his cherished grandchildren, Caidence and Leon Ferguson. He also leaves behind his siblings: Bill (Kathy) Buterbaugh, John (Patty) Buterbaugh, Allen (Alicia) Buterbaugh, Janet (Bill) Czerwonko, and Lois (Greg) Young, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A proud graduate of Southeast High School and Kent State University, Lawrence’s life was marked by dedication to his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 7th, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Goodyear Heights Lodge West Room, located at 2077 Newton Street in Akron, Ohio.
