Our beloved father, Larry Coburn, went to be with the Lord on December 3rd, 2025. After months of quiet strength and bravery, his body grew tired, and God welcomed him home. He is no longer suffering, no longer in pain, and no longer confined to a body that could not keep up with his spirit.
Larry was a man whose hands built, repaired, created, and gave. An avid hunter and one of the best carpenters and fine woodworking craftsmen around, he had a gift for turning simple pieces of wood into something beautiful and lasting. He was known for being the very best at everything—reliable, skilled, and the one everyone called when something truly mattered. There wasn’t much that he was unable to fix but if he couldn’t, he knew who to call.
But his greatest work was pouring love into the lives of his family and the people around him. Larry was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, friend, mentor, and most of all, a deeply involved grandpa. His grandson Nathan wasn’t just that—he was Larry’s best friend. Their bond was unbreakable, full of laughter, projects, stories, and moments Nathan will carry with him forever.
Larry is preceded in death by those he longed to see again: his parents, Bobby and Luke, his mother-in-law Carolyn Julianne Prudhome, and his beloved son Sean Coburn. The reunion in Heaven must have been a beautiful one.
He leaves behind a great deal of family and friends who will forever miss him, hold his memory close, and feel the impact of his love, craftsmanship, and compassion for the rest of their lives.
Though our world is dimmer without him, we take comfort in knowing Larry is finally at peace—whole, restored, and held in God’s embrace. His legacy lives on in the people he loved, the things he built, and the countless lives he touched.
We will miss you, Larry, more than words will ever be able to say.
