Lawrence "Larry" R. Crannell Sr., aged 54, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at his home in Gloversville.
Born on September 19, 1970, he was the son of the late Charles and Leah (Yager) Crannell.
Lawrence led a life marked by humor, resourcefulness, and an interest in Marvel Comics. Throughout his years, Lawrence was a dedicated employee at Amsterdam Printing, where he contributed his talents and work ethic. Lawrence also had a food truck called Old Man Jenkins Grub Hut. Known for his funny anecdotes, he was the kind of man who always had an engaging story to share.
He is survived by his daughters, Laci Crannell and Leah Darbin; son, Lawrence Crannell Jr.; grandchild, Delilah; brothers, Rick and Charles Crannell; sisters, Susan Illif, Barbara Gutowski, Char Walker-Foiles, and KC Newman.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence is predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Winchell and Lacey J Gutowski.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY.
