It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lawrence "Larry" Itkin, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 80, due to complications from congestive heart failure. Larry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Cheryl (Malerman) Itkin, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Larry was the proud father of two daughters, Nicole Itkin (Ben Sawyer) and Stephanie Itkin, and the adoring grandfather of Everett Sawyer and Jacob Itkin, who brought him great joy. Larry is also survived by his younger brother, David Itkin (Valerie), with whom he shared a strong bond and were partners in Furniture Consultants, Inc. Born on November 14, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY, Larry lived a life full of purpose, kindness, integrity, and generosity. He will be remembered for his warm heart, his sense of humor, and the deep affection he had for his family and friends. Larry had an unwavering commitment to his loved ones, offering his support, guidance, and wisdom. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Shiva will take place at 1933 SW York Lane, Palm City, FL, on Wednesday, February 12th, from 5pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer’s Association.
