Joseph Theodore Corona (Joe) passed away on September 25, 2025, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, FL.
Joe was born in Syracuse, NY, and later moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. Joe leaves behind his wife Darleen Corona, daughter Sally Waite (Martin DeLoach), son Roland Fletcher (Cassie Fletcher), sisters Joanne Paoff and Lynda McMahon, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
Joe enjoyed fishing offshore, road trips, traveling, being with friends and family, cooking, and making pizzas with his grandkids. He also enjoyed gambling with his wife. Joe and Darleen shared many happy and long years with one another and their families. He was always very proud of his large family and all their accomplishments. He was also “The best husband, Dad, and super PaPa ever”. He was a wonderful brother to his sisters and a great uncle to his nieces, nephews, and he just loved everyone.
Joe was a retired contractor.
Eight years ago, Joe and Darleen moved from West Palm Beach to Jensen Beach, where they met so many friends and enjoyed their life together. He will be sorely missed. They were married at the Gazebo in Pine Lake Village, where they resided.
“Celebration of Life” will be held at 2101 NE Savanna Road, Jensen Beach, FL, at 2:00 p.m. in the clubhouse of Pine Lake Village.
