Mr. Lawrence Edward Richardson Sr., 82, of Ashville, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Thomas Richardson and Grace Leona Richardson; sister, Beverly Bonner; and son-in-law, Chris Greene.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Richardson; daughters, Paula Harper (Phillip) and Greta Greene; son, Lawrence Edward Richarson Jr. (Jodi); grandchildren, Aaron Mollica (Sarah), Anna Maria Murphree (Brock), Lauren Lucas (Nathan), Mary Catherine Cantley (Andrew), Katie Shinaberry (Corey), Lydia Symington (Stuart), Grace Anne Greene, and Christopher Greene; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Ashville from 10 am until 11 am on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, followed by a funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Nathan Daniels officiating. A private committal service will be held at Alabama National Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Aaron Mollica, Brock Murphree, Andrew Cantley, Corey Shinaberry, Nathan Lucas, and Stuart Symington. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Greene, Phillip Harper, Wayne Sorrell, and Rick DeWeese.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church Ashville with designation for Disaster Relief.
