Layne Todd Obituary
He is known for being a devoted son, an exemplary brother, and a manager, at Wirecrafters, who always had everyone's best interests at heart.
Layne was a loyal son to Mark, his father, and Marilyn, his mother, as well as a loving brother to Aaron and Ryan.
Layne was first and foremost a defender of his family and his greatest joy in life was making other people laugh. His spirit will be carried on in all the lives he changed through his love, humor, and acts of service.
As a manager, his team's wellbeing and happiness were his foremost concerns. He graduated from the University of Louisville, with honors, with a degree in marketing and communications.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th Street with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews.
While Layne will be missed, we know heaven has gained one more magnanimous soul bringing with him his charism of joy.
In lieu of flowers, the family is directing memorial gifts in the form of contributions to Corpus Christi Classical Academy, 105 Main Street, P.O. Box 1142, Shelbyville, KY 40066.

When Layne would see me he´d always have that smile on his face and ask how´s it going? When you´d ask how he was he´d say great, fantastic, living the dream. That dream was cut way too short. Everyone who knew him will miss that big smile and gigantic personality. Rest In Peace my friend.

My sincerest condolences and prayers go out to the family and friends during this time. Although I did not know Layne personally, he touched my heart and I would like to honor and remember him through intentional acts of service each day. May God bless all of you.
