Le Roy Arthur Lang (Lee) February 23, 1930 - June 16, 2025.
Le Roy Arthur Lang (Lee) of West Allis, Wisconsin, was born February 23, 1930 and passed to Eternal Life on June 16, 2025.
Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joan (Bennett), his parents, Michael and Margaret (DeLange) Lang, his siblings, Daniel Lang, Delores Heileman, and Gilbert Lang. Lee is survived by his son, Steven Lang, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lee proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
Lee and Steven shared time together traveling to Steve's Drum Corps activities and in later years continued attending competitions together.
Lee enjoyed gardening. He took great pride in his yard, planting many flowers and adding whimsical 'critters' to the landscape. His favorite place was sitting in the shade enjoying a nice day watching the birds, bunnies and chippies play.
Lee loved decorating his home for the holidays. He had an extensive collection of decorations that he kept well organized and rotated so the displays were never the same.
Lee liked watching the local sports teams. You would often find him wearing his team gear.
Lee and Steven also enjoyed auto racing. They made annual trips to Winchester Speedway and the Slinger Nationals.
Lee was a golfer in the summer and a bowler in the winter until he was 93. He always said it got him out and moving.
When health issues made it necessary to leave his home, he accepted his new living arrangements, made new friends and joined in the activities at the care center. It seemed the 'L Table' (Lee, Lon and Lori) was the lucky table at bingo!
Lee was a quiet, KIND man who was always willing to help out. We can all take a lesson from him.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Hales Corners Care Center for their care and compassion during Lee's time with them.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025 at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 9309 W. Beloit Rd. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will take place at Forest Home Cemetery.
