Leah Michelle Baker

With the heaviest of hearts, we announce that Leah Michelle Baker, a beautiful, fierce, and selfless woman, went to be with Jesus on December 3, 2025, at 12:31 AM. Born and raised in Delaware, Leah lived a life filled with love, strength, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She lived fiercely, and her courage, spirit, and resilience were inspiring to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jason Ashton Baker Sr.; her daughters, Alaina Carey and Jasmine Carey; her son, Jason Ashton Baker Jr.; her father, Wayne Davis; and her brothers, Justin Davis and Adam Davis. She is also cherished and remembered by her extended Baker and Davis families, as well as her many lifelong friends who loved her deeply. Leah was welcomed into heaven by her beloved mother, Maria Davis, and her precious son, Max Logan McClain, whom she longed to hold again.
Leah earned her master's degree from Wilmington University and built a successful career at J.P. Morgan as a senior client service associate. She was incredibly proud of her accomplishments, one being the series 7 exam, but nothing meant more to her than her family. She loved her children fiercely. She also loved shopping, traveling, and creating memories with the people she cherished most.
The service will be held at Torbert Funeral Home, 1145 E Lebanon Rd Dover, DE 19901 on December 10th, 2025 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Leah wished for friends and family to wear color in honor of her at her service.
The family asks that, in place of flowers, anyone who feels led to give may send donations to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road, Dover, DE 19901 to help with funeral expenses and ongoing support during this difficult time. Your kindness means more than we can express.
Leah's love, her strength, and the way she lit up each room will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
