Pola'ivao was a professional wrestler and a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He is survived by wife, Patricia Anoa'i; his daughters, Vanessa, Myritza and Summer Anoa'i; Son, Leati Joseph Anoa'i; his grandsons, Kendall & Zell Anoa'i Flowers, Iliyas Anoa'i Fuavai, Koa, Kingsley, Waylon, Nolan and Paxton Anoa'i; his granddaughters, Sumayah Fuavai, Madison, Ella, Isabelle, Joelle Anoa'i and his great granddaughter, Hali'a Anoa'i Flowers; his sisters, Initalia Toefaeono and Matalima Anoa'i Ilalio; his brothers; Gatavaisa Afa Anoa'i, Ifopo Tusipa Anoa'i and Failauga Peke Anoa'i and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pola'ivao was preceded in death by parents, the late Reverend Amituana'i Anoa'i & Tovaleomanaia Ripley; his son, Matthew Tapanu'u Anoa'i; his sisters, Sinaimoana Anoa'i, Elevera Anoa'i Fatu; and his brothers, Fasito'o Anoa'i, Anoa'i Jr. Afoafouvale Anoa'i, and Peseta Tumua Anoa'i.

My first interaction with Sika was when I was working security at Walmart in Pensacola on Mobile Highway. He came in, my first thought was "my does he look familiar, then an associate informed me of who he was, then I was awestruck. When he was heading out, I asked for a picture with him. He told me a story or two about Joe ( Roman Reigns). Then anytime he came in we casually talked briefly because I didn't want to hold him up. He told me about the wrestling school that Fatu (Rikishi) had and that I should check it out. Because of this encounter, it light a spark that ignited a stronger desire and fanship of wrestling. Also this made want to impersonate The Undertaker (Mark Calaway). May Sika's legacy live on through the family and the Bloodline. May you rest easy Uce. Thank you Sika for the memories.

I'm a huge wrestling fan and in the late 80s I managed a traffic department in a company. One day a delivery came to my dock and the truck driver looked very familiar. I asked if we knew each other and he asked if I watched wrestling. When I said yes he asked if I ever saw the Wild Samoans, and then I knew he was either Afa or Sika and now i think he was Sika. He said when he had down time for WWF he would drive for this trucking company. Got to talk with him a number of times and he was a terricfically cool person. Endeared me to all of those from his lineage.

No one wanted to wrestle Sika for the traditional hog head.

Mr. Sika Anoa'I and Mr. Afa Anoa'I were the first people I watched wrestle in the 80's on Saturday morning. The Wild Samoans are the reason I get to see his son Leati Joseph Anoa'I wrestle today. I fell in love with wrestling. My ex-husband and I once sumo wrestled at a local bar for tickets to a live wrestling event in Boston, MA. Sika will be missed immensely throughout the wrestling community. To his family and friends that knew him best I extend my sincerest condolences. They will be in my prayers.
