Obituary published on Legacy.com by Stone Brothers Funeral Home - Fort Pierce on Feb. 23, 2023.
Mr. Lee Andrew Moore Jr. was the fourth child born to Lee Andrew Moore and Josephine Ezell Jones on May 31, 1971, in Fort Pierce FL. Affectionately known as "Big Beep" to many, Lee was known for being 300 pounds of pure love, laughter, and compassion. He always kept a smile on his face and praise in his heart. Lee always made himself readily available to help anyone he could. He enjoyed writing poems, and raps, and studying his bible. Lee enjoyed spending time with his family and seized every opportunity to celebrate. He was the baby of the family, and he made sure his siblings treated him as such.
He matriculated through the Saint Lucie County School District attending Fort Pierce Westwood High School as his final educational enrollment. As a young man, Lee worked at many local restaurants before he concluded that he would follow his love for music and community outreach. Lee then took on the stage name "DJ Big B." Lee would go on to try to teach and inspire any youth he encountered. Lee wanted to send a message, "that you could still be cool and hip and love Jesus at the same time."
Lee loved his church and his church family and took immense pride in whatever his pastor asked of him. Whether it was collecting the offering or reading the announcements Lee stayed a willing worker for Christ. Being led by Christ, Lee Andrew met and married Teri Celena Hines on November 10th. Teri was everything that Lee had been praying for, and he loved her dearly.
On a warm summer day in 2020, Lee Andrew Moore accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and Joined Rightway Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Wayne Harden, Sr. where he served faithfully until his sudden and untimely death.
On February 19, 2023, while resting in his home, Lee heard the voice of the Lord and he answered, " Yes Lord, here I am". Lee understood the assignment and departed this life to live again in the presence of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His earthly work is finished he is now resting in the bosom of Jesus Christ. Though hearts may be heavy let us rejoice and take comfort in knowing he is in a place where there is neither pain nor sorrow, but an abundance of everlasting peace.
