Lee Roy Phillips, 84 of Dover, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Russellville Nursing and Rehab. He was born June 19, 1941 in Fort Douglas, Arkansas to Gus Phillips and Pearlie Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren and two great-grands.
He is survived by his wife, Willo Jean Phillips of 63 years, Gary Phillips (Amanda), Patricia Hughes (Jerry Don Jr.), Belinda Phillips, Brenda Brown, Debra Phillips (Charles), Denise Shaddon (Chester), Bobby Phillips (Michelle); thirteen grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
Roy was a hard working man and jokester. He loved strolling over Shinn Mountain daily. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved spending the majority of his time with the apple of his eye, Jean (Mable). He enjoyed spending time with all of his family, especially the grandkids, as well as the abundance of front porch friends.
His visitation will be at Russellville Family Funeral on October 9th from 6-8pm
The Funeral service will be on October 10th at 11am, with burial following at Shiloh Williams in Russellville. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
Pallbearers will be Justin Bollinger, Blake Newsome, Bobby Wayne Hughes, Weston Hughes, Chester Shaddon, and Aaron Shaddon.
Honorary Pallbearers: Gary Phillips, Bobby Phillips, Brandon Shaddon, David Detrick, Charles Detrick, and Jerry Don Hughes.
