Funeral services for Lee Wehrmann, 48, of Brownsboro, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Bristow officiating. Interment will follow at Echols Cemetery on Jennings Mountain under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Wehrmann passed away at his home on March 29, 2024, in Larue.
Freddie Lee Wehrmann, Jr. was born in Tyler, Texas, on December 2, 1975. He was the son of Freddie Lee Wehrmann, Sr. and Angela Dianne (Calvet) Wehrmann. Lee graduated from Brownsboro High School in 1994 and served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. After his military service, he worked for Kelly Springfield for ten years and was a drilling fluids engineer for fifteen years. Lee loved spending time with his wife, children, and family and always attended their events. He enjoyed hunting and grilling and was a big fan of the Aggies and the Texas Rangers. He had a great sense of humor and was always friendly to everyone he met. Those who knew and loved him will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Henry and Louise Wehrmann; his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Auweta Calvet; and his maternal great-grandmother, Opal Parker.
Survivors include his wife, Christy Wehrmann of Brownsboro; his parents, Freddie and Angela Wehrmann of Brownsboro; his children, Braylon Wehrmann and wife Halle of Brownsboro, Gage Wehrmann and wife Alexis of Brownsboro, and McKenna Wehrmann of Brownsboro; his granddaughter, Adeline Wehrmann of Brownsboro; his sister, Alisha Pino and husband Carmen of Bridgeton, New Jersey; his mother-in-law, Brenda Richardson of Brownsboro, and brother-in-law, Chad Richardson of Granbury; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with his Marine Corps brothers.
Serving as pallbearers will be Braylon Wehrmann, Gage Wehrmann, Carmen Pino, Jeff VanDerbeck, Chad Richardson, Chris Dunlap, Tim Lightfoot, and Johnny Goff.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 1-3:00 p.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675, or to Mission 22, www.mission22.com/give.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Chandler Memorial Funeral Home family.
