Lee entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by her family, after succumbing to respiratory illness.
Lee was born November 20, 1966 in Morenci Arizona to Richard and Janet Nations. Lee met her first husband, and father of their children, Edward Schlicker, while studying at Eastern Arizona College. After Ed graduated, the pair moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where they welcomed their first two children, Lane and Holly. After three years, the growing family returned to Safford, Arizona, where Ed and Lee would welcome two more children, Savannah and Levi. Together, Ed and Lee led a beautiful life until Ed's passing from a tragic car accident in 1995.
Lee later married Dr. Ira Weiner of Las Vegas, Nevada on April 20, 2011. Ira was Lee's anchor in life, as she was his. Ira provided Lee with a fun and comfortable life, and cared for her with great affection- till the Lord called her home.
Music was Lee's passion. She was an exceptionally gifted pianist and vocalist. Lee loved her children and her grand-loves more than life itself.
Surviving are Lee's husband, Dr. Ira Weiner; her parents, Richard and Janet Nations; her eldest son, Lane, and his wife, Carolina, as well as their three children, Xian, Xaden, and Vivian; her eldest daughter, Holly, and her children, Jalee and Tysnn; her youngest daughter, Savannah, and her husband, Nathaniel, as well as their children, Rilee, Noxlynn, and Maddix; her youngest son, Levi, and his partner, Sthefanny, as well as their children, Louis and Silas; her siblings, Jeff Nations and Maria Kouts; and many nieces and nephews and Ira's son, Alex Weiner.
Lee is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Schlicker; her grandparents, Richard and Beatrice Nations; her nephew, Josiah Kouts; her brother-in-law, Jason Kouts; and her brother-in-law, Theodore Schlicker III.
A memorial service celebrating Lee's life and legacy will be held on July 2, 2025, at 10 o'clock in the morning at Grace Tabernacle Church in Safford, Arizona. Committal and interment will immediately follow at Safford Cemetery.
