Obituary of Lee Norris Williams
Lee Williams age 74, of Clewiston, Florida passed away on April 18, 2024 in Clewiston, Florida.
. Lee Williams was born on August 22, 1949, in Ft. Gaines, GA, to Felicia Shorter and Elbert Williams, both of whom preceded him in death. He graduated from Harlem Academy in 1968. Lee worked for the various sugar mills in the area as a laborer. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast who lived his life to the fullest. He was injured during a race that ended his racing career and position as laborer. Rather than allowing that to be the end of his story he learned to adapt. Lee became a farmer who maintained his own private gardens as well as helping others with their own farms.
He leaves behind a loving wife, Eva, six sons Arthur Lee Brown, Michael Williams, Doby Johnson Jr. (Chesirae), Leonard McCullough Jr (Shere), Lance McCullough, Robert Johnson (Whitney) and two daughters, Samantha Burns (Kenneth) and Tamica McCullough (JC). A host of grandchildren and his most-cared for grands Kayla Johnson, Cartianna Rogers, JaBrian and Jango Davis. His beloved brother Elbert Williams Jr. (Patricia) a sisters in law, Valerie Minatee, three cherished aunts, Annie Stephens and Minnie Shorter of Clewiston, Ethel Randolle of Ft. Gaines GA, an uncle Beuwfus Shorter, a treasured cousin, Roberta Shorter, his beloved niece Felicia (Lendon) Pearson, cherished neighbor Lee Snow and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Flora Williams, cousin Norman Banks, Puzzle, Crunch, Low, Tobe, Dappy, Stacy Wright, brother in law Alex Minatee,
