Breaux Bridge - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of LeeRoy J. Thibodeaux, a beloved member of the Breaux Bridge community, who departed this life on October 22, 2025, at the age of 81. LeeRoy was born on September 18, 1944, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, where he lived his entire life and developed deep roots in his cherished hometown.
A man of simple pleasures, LeeRoy loved to keep active, often seen walking his familiar route through the streets of Breaux Bridge. It was during these walks that he took in the beauty of his surroundings and engaged in conversations with neighbors, always promoting the causes and political campaigns he believed in by wearing their shirts with pride.
It was LeeRoy's wishes for no services to be held.
He is survived by his two sons; sister, Nelma Sides; and nephew, Charles Hathaway.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester Thibodeaux and Gladys Babineaux Thibodeaux.
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
