Leila Thomas Malcom

Leila Thomas Malcom, age 86 of Ellijay, died Thursday, March 6, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Malcom; parents, Fred Elmer and Nannie Thomas; siblings, Hayden Thomas, Wilma Thomas Miller, Ralph Thomas, Fred Thomas, Jr. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Jane Malcom, Duane and Karen Malcom; grandchildren, Mindy and Mark McGee, Christi and Brent Ward, Kevin and Abigail Malcom, Ashley and Adam Lee; great-grandchildren, Brynlee, CeCe, Caroline, Emersyn, Dave and Emily. Leila was a lifelong member of Glenwood Hills Baptist Church, before continuing her serving of God at Rockdale Baptist Church. She was a bookkeeper at both churches, and was a part of Senior Choir at Rockdale Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Dr. Billy Moss and Dwayne Jones officiating.
