Leisa Christian, age 60, of Bradford, Tennessee passed peacefully at her residence, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 7, 2025 with Bruce Callahan to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Memorial Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Bryan Younger, Keith Hazelwood, Roger Christian, Jason Blanton, Andrew Mitchell, and Jamie McKinny.
Visitation is scheduled on Friday after 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
Leisa Mechele Jackson Christian was born May 19, 1964 in Paris, Tennessee to the late James Lloyd Jackson and the late Peggy Richardson Jackson. She married Billy Christian on May 29, 2015 and he survives in Bradford. Leisa is also survived by her daughters, Tonya Mitchell (fianc Keith Hazelwood) of Bells, TN, Jennifer Singleton of Buchanan and Ashley of Indiana; son, Bryan Younger of Bradford; fifteen grandchildren; sisters, Linda Elliott (Jamie McKinny) of Paris, Wilma (Eddie) White of Paris; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Besides her parents, Leisa is also preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Button.
Mrs. Christian was a Baptist by faith. She was a Henry County High School graduate and worked as a dietary aide at Henry County Medical Center for over 12 years. Leisa was a very caring person who deeply loved her family, animals and especially horses.
The family requests that memorials be made to the animal shelter of the donor's choice or to Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) to help with research for type 1 Neuro Fibromatosis.
