Leland H. Korslin, age 81, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at his home.

Leland was born January 24, 1944, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wood County, Wisconsin to Edward and Edna (Gaetke) Korslin. He married Aleta Anderson on February 15, 1964.

After graduating from Rudolph High School in 1962, Lee worked at Sampson Canning Company. In 1964, he started employment at Consolidated Papers Inc./Stora Enso. He was a charter employee at Consolidated's new Kraft Mill in 1967, and retired as Recovery Boiler Operator in 2003 with 39 years of service. After retirement, he drove school bus for Lamers Bus Lines.

Lee was a quiet, gentle man who loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, golfing, and snowmobiling. He played softball and managed a softball team at the Vesper ballpark. He was an excellent pool shot and played in various leagues in the area. Lee built his home in 1968 and took pride in keeping the grounds in pristine condition. He loved sitting on the patio, surveying his "estate" while listening to the Rafters or the Brewers. He also enjoyed watching the Packers, the Bucks, and NASCAR races. His shop was his get-away place where many woodworking projects for family members came to fruition. Lee loved spending time with his family and adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Leland is survived by his wife of 61 years Aleta (Andy) and their children: Kenneth (Lisa) Korslin, Laura (Phil Hamm) Pavloski, Michael (Julie) Korslin, and Edward (Christina) Korslin; grandchildren: Josh (Cyndi) Korslin, Cami Pavloski, Jesse Pavloski, Taylor Korslin, Paxton Korslin, Mason Korslin, Luke Korslin, Hannah Korslin, Eli Korslin, Caleb Korslin, Hailey (Alex) Rawding; great-grandchildren: Leland Dean Korslin, twins Evelyn and Liam Pavloski, and Tatum Noelle Rawding (on her way); siblings: Arlene Benegas, Audrey Starr, Howard Korslin, John Korslin, Jeanette Pankratz, Frank (Sharon) Korslin, Leila (Dave) Arndt, Debbie (Gordie) Severin; brother-in-law: Jim (Barb) Anderson; sisters-in-law: Ginger Korslin, Betty (Dennis) Riemer; and a ton of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife's parents (Jim and Margaret Anderson); brothers: Jerry Korslin, George Korslin; sisters: Gloria Trzebiatowski, Mary Sabin, Diane Korslin; brothers-in-law: Sam Benegas, Jerry Starr, Larry Trzebiatowski, Bill Anderson, Rich Anderson; sisters-in-law: Karen Korslin, Sue Korslin, Elaine Korslin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Wisconsin Rapids or the South Wood County Humane Society.
