Eric F. Korslin

Eric Frank Korslin, age 50, of Arpin, WI passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00-7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. A gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate him.
Eric was born October 15, 1972 in Wisconsin Rapids to Frank and Sharon (Dhein) Korslin. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1991. He married Cheryl Kibbel on May 30, 1998 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.
Eric worked as a carpenter with Carpenters Local 804.
Eric was a dedicated father and husband. He loved his children and his wife. He was the strongest man they knew. He loved nothing better than to teach his children to value all that life has to offer including the beauty of nature and the joy of spending time with friends and family fishing, hunting, and disc golfing. He took great pride in being a great father and role model to his kids; loving every moment of helping or holding them. He never gave up fighting to stay with his family right up to the very end. Eric always said everything happens for a reason. Maybe one day he will show us the reason. We love you always Dad.
Eric is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; children: Hunter Korslin, Kaden Korslin, Denver Korslin, Morgan Korslin, and Erica Korslin; his parents Frank and Sharon Korslin; his sister Amy (Stephanie) Korslin and many hunting, fishing, disc golf, and work friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The family would like to thank Dr. Alice Le Huu and her husband of Marshfield Medical Center for the excellent care Eric received.
