ATHENS—Leland Norman, 88, of Athens, OH, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, OH.
He was born Aug. 25, 1937, in Pikeville, KY, son of the late Herbert Lewis and Effie McGraw Norman.
Leland is survived by 4 sons, Danny Norman, Jack (Lisa) Norman, Richard (Tina) Norman and James Norman; 4 daughters, Carolyn (James) Milligan, Cindy Norman, Virginia Norman and Mary (Isaac) Taylor; a brother, Roger Norman and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Norman; grandson, Jimmy and daughter-in-law, Valerie Norman.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Nov. 1, 2025, at White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH, with Barry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Clarks Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday, from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
