HOCKINGPORT—Jeffrey Hardesty, 64, of Hockingport, OH, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 23, 1961, in Parkersburg, WV, son of Barbara Bailey Story and the late Larry Hardesty. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired carpenter and a member of the Forked Run Gun Club.
In addition to his mother, Barbara Story, he is survived by 2 son, Sean (Jayde) Hardesty and Chad (Kriss) Cheeseman; 6 grandchildren, Rosaleigh Tokie, Raelynn Hardesty, Hudson Hardesty., Andrew Cheeseman, Daniel Cheeseman and Paul Cheeseman; 3 brothers, Larry Hardesty, Andrew Hardesty and Adam Cottrill.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Hardesty.
Services will be announced later by White Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
