Leland Herman Zarbok passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Sunday June 9th, 2024 at the age of 86.
The Son of Herman and Etta Zarbok, he graduated from high school in East St Paul, MN in 1956. Leland was married to the love of his life, Priscilla Zarbok, on June 29th, 1957. They celebrated 66 wonderful years of marriage together.
They raised three wonderful children, Debra, Brenda, and Lee. They were inseparable as they traveled, golfed, played darts and much more, but they especially loved playing and singing old time music for nursing home residents in the area. Leland enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, taking walks and feeding the animals. Spending time with family and friends was a very important part of his life.
Leland is survived by his brother Bill (Jan) Zarbok and his sister Marlys; three children – Debra (Rick) Voges, Brenda Carlson and Lee (Lori) Zarbok; 7 grandchildren – Mike Carlson, Chad (Mari) Carlson, Samantha (Gary) Pace, Mathew Zarbok, Trevor Thompson, Andrew Voges and Nicholas (Bailey) Voges; 6 great grandchildren – Gabe, Layla, Dominic, Xander, Karalee and Declan; and one great great grandchild – AnnaLynn, plus many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
He was preceded in death by his wife Priscilla, parents Herman and Etta Zarbok, and his brothers Murald and Roger (Butch).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 14 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory in Alexandria, MN. A light lunch will follow.
