Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at the Samart Funeral Home of Houma located in Bayou Blue, 635 Bayou Blue Road, Houma, Louisiana 70364 from 4pm to 7pm. On Thursday, October 30, 2025 visitation will be held from 9am to 11am with religious services to follow at 11am at Samart Funeral Home located in Bayou Blue. Burial will follow at Holy Family No. 2 in Dulac, Louisiana.
Lena is survived by her children, Cindy Coleman (Steven Sr.), Ray Billiot, Paul "Bae bae" Billiot, Jassen Billiot (Tammy), Erroll Billiot, Reginald Billiot (Tina), and her babies Gypsy and Loretta Billiot; 19 grandchildren, Desirae, Deirdre, Steven Jr., Shauna, Mia, T-Ray, Ashlee, Chelsie, Shaneka, Trenika, Dahneka, Rahneka, Malcolm, Shana, Briana, Reginald Jr., Ava, Jordan, and Alex; 40 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Annie, Tony, and Josephine.
She is proceeded in death by husbands, Raymond Billiot and Roger Borne; parents, John Noah Billiot, Emily and Ronald Garribotte; son, Darryl Billiot; sisters, Rosemary and Stella; nephew, Eddie; daughter-in-law, Donna and Jennifer; and grand daughter, Marcey.
Lena was a very strong native woman, who loved being visited by her family and friends. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, yard sales, thrifting, listening to George Jones, watching soap operas, loving on her babies, and bossing people around. She was such an inspiration to so many people. She will forever be loved and missed.
