Obituary
Lena (Lafreniere) Lataille, 92, of Woonsocket, died May 19, 2023 at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Norman Lataille, Sr. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Leda (Dupuis) Lafreniere.
Mrs. Lataille was dedicated to her family and would host any and all holidays and family dinner every Saturday. She was a faithful woman and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Woonsocket. Lena enjoyed cooking, sewing, word searches and games, and was an avid New England Patriots fan.
She is survived by three children, Norman Lataille, Jr. and his wife, Ann, of Harrisville, Donna Janelle and her husband, Steven, of Woonsocket, and Lori Lacasse of Woonsocket; two grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Robert Lafreniere, Jeanne Beaulieu, and Lillian Moison.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of the Northeast, 1661 Worcester Rd. #301, Framingham, MA 01701.
