Lenda Leota Boggs

Lenda Leota Boggs, born on September 10, 1940, in Henrietta, Texas to Leonard and Jewel Booth. She was married to Billy Boggs for 57 years with 6 children. She passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas at 85 years old. Lenda was a strong and independent woman, known for her passionate nature and her joy for reading. Her dedication and warmth touched the lives of many who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved children: daughter Billie Sue Jimenez and her sons, Gregory, Jeff, Kevin, and Travis Boggs, as well as her sister Wanda Jewell, 21 grandkids, 48 great grandkids, and 4 great great grandkids.
Lenda was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Boggs, her father, Leonard Booth, her mother, Jewel Booth, her son, Leonard Boggs and her sister, Theresa Brown.
In honor of Lenda's life, a visitation will take place at Sanders Funeral Home on October 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM, allowing friends and family to gather and share memories. A funeral service will be held at Sanders Memorial Chapel on October 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM, where all will be welcomed to celebrate her life, reflecting on the impact she had on those around her.
Lenda's legacy will live on through the love she shared, the strength she exemplified, and the bonds she formed with her family and friends. She will be profoundly missed but cherished in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
