William Cody Lindley, beloved son, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the age of 40.
Cody was born in Midland, TX on July 26, 1985, to the late Robert "Bob" Lindley and Terrie Burke Lindley. He grew up in Midland and Lubbock, TX. Cody graduated from Monterey High School in 2003, then from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications.
Throughout his life, Cody had a love for sports especially baseball. He was also very involved in Martial Arts and held several belts in this craft. Cody was loving and caring and when it came to his nieces and nephews Cody was known as the "Cool Uncle". Always running around and playing with them, turning into a kid again for the children's entertainment.
Cody's memory will live on with his mother, Terrie Lindley. His brother, Jason Lindley Fiancée Allyson). His sister, Sarah Lindley (Fiancée, Kyle). His loved and adored nieces and nephews, Ethan Lindley, Cameron Lindley, Owen Lindley, Hayden Lindley, Kam Hester, Kylor Hester, Hudson Hester, Maycee Embry and Avery Embry. His uncle, Lowell McDaniel. Cousins, Brandee McDaniel-Barnes (Sha), Bryan McDaniel (Mandy), Allyson Cervantes (Daniel), Laykin McDaniel, Blayne McDaniel, Luke Cervantes, and Harper Cervantes. His beloved dogs, Kimura and Hendrix, who he loved like children.
Cody was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by those that have gone before him. His father Robert Lindley. His grandparents, William and Clair Burke, and Joe and Sam Lindley. His favorite aunt, Sherrie McDaniel.
His family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2025 at Sanders Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Resthaven Memorial Park.
