DANVERS – Mrs. Lenora Jean "Lenny" (Boudreau) Corte, 76 of Danvers and the devoted wife of David F. Corte, Sr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024 at Care One at Essex Park in Beverly.
Born in Beverly, Lenora was one of seven children, born to the late Joseph and Alice (Witham) Boudreau. Raised and educated in Beverly, she was a graduate of Beverly High School, class of 1967.
Always one to stay busy, Lenny dedicated her career to handling office management for a bakery business. Later in life she worked as an activities coordinator at Putnam Farm Assisted Living in Danvers.
A natural caretaker, Lenny loved being with and caring for her family. She took great pride in being one others could depend on and truly relished in the good deed of helping another person. Her kind soul will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all.
In addition to her husband David, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage, Lenny is survived by her daughter, Deborah Curley and her husband, Jason of Danvers; her son, David Corte, Jr., and his wife, Justine of Quincy; her grandson, Benjamin Corte of Quincy; sister, Sally Coffey of Beverly; brother, John Thomas Boudreau and his wife, Evelyn of Beverly; and sister-in-law, Therese Boudreau of Beverly and many nieces and nephews. Lenny was the sister of the late, Catherine Levesque, Judith McMahon, Betty Stillson and Joseph Boudreau.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Lenora's funeral service which will be held at O'Donnell Cremations – Funerals – Celebrations, 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) DANVERS on Saturday, September 28th at 9:30 A.M. burial to follow in Highland Cemetery, Ipswich. A visiting hour will be held prior to her service from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lenora's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please visit www.odonnellfuneralservice.com.
