Leo A. Biermann, 59, of Sedalia, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at his home.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Holy Family Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.

Born January 30, 1967 in Beaufort, Missouri, he was the son of the late Walter and LaVerne Knuemann Biermann.

He is survived by his brother Steve, sister Rose Mary, sister-in-law Deb, and nephew Robert.

Leo was kind-hearted and saw the good in everyone. He enjoyed simple pleasures in life, including fishing and watching Westerns. He particularly enjoyed driving the tram during the Missouri State Fair, and was especially devoted to his cats.

We will never say everything that we could possibly want to say in a lifetime to the ones that we love.

Uncle Leo, he was an anchor in my life. I loved him, will miss him, and will carry him in my heart into the future.
