Leo Jablonski, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on July 31, 1942, Leo lived his life with integrity and dedication, becoming a beloved figure in his community and a steadfast support for his family.
Leo proudly devoted his career to the auto industry, leaving an indelible mark at Penske and Detroit Diesel before retiring from Chrysler. His hard work and commitment not only reflected in his professional achievements but were also evident in the nurturing environment he created for his beloved family. A hard-working man through and through, Leo took excellent care of those he loved, always ensuring they had what they needed.
A warm soul at heart, Leo had a unique gift for making friends wherever he went. He became a fixture in his neighborhood, often found in his front yard, greeting everyone who passed by with a friendly smile and a few kind words. His love for animals was evident; he was a sucker for puppies and other creatures, treating them with the same kindness he extended to his human friends.
Leo’s passions extended beyond his job. He took immense pride in his gardening skills, transforming his home and lawn into a vibrant oasis that became the envy of the neighborhood. His love for creating easily translated into crafting small projects that brought joy not only to his family but also to those around him. He could fix anything, and many turned to him for advice or help.
In addition to his remarkable achievements in life, Leo’s family meant everything to him. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Gloria Jablonski, and his beloved children, John and Nicole Jablonski. Their hearts are heavy with the loss of a wonderful husband and father who provided them with love, guidance, and endless support.
Leo's spirit will forever be cherished by his family as they hold tight to the beautiful memories they created together. He will join his late father, Michael Jablonski, mother, Eva Jablonski, and brother, Max (Constance) Jamon, in eternal rest.
