Leo L. Laliberte 87, of Kimberly Lane in Blackstone, passes away on May 28, 2025. Leo was born in North Attleboro, a son of the late Leo P. and Anna (Batello) Laliberte. He was also the stepson of the late Lillian (Marcoux) Laliberte. Leo was a janitor for the Tri-State Vocational School in Franklin for many years. Leo loved nature and animals, he especially loved his horse Malih.
Leo is survived by his sister Sandra Fleming and her husband Thomas, nephew Craig, and great nephew Alex of Bellingham, and brother William Laliberte his wife Janice, son Chad, daughter Lori and their families of Tauton, a sister-in-law Marielle Laliberte and her children Amy and Anna and their families. He was predeceased by a brother James Laliberte.
His funeral with visitation will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025, beginning at 9:00AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Divine Mercy Church, St. Paul St. in Blackstone. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to: Alzheimer's Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St, Ste 306, Providence, RI 02906-5215.
