LEO DENNIS MCNIFF

McNIFF, Leo Dennis Age 84, of Scituate, MA, passed away peacefully, on March 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Leo was born in Boston, MA, to Ann (Jenness) McNiff, just a few months after the passing of his father, Joseph McNiff. He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph McNiff and Elizabeth McNiff. Leo leaves behind his devoted wife of 62 years, Jane (McCarthy) McNiff. He was the loving father of the late Leo McNiff, Karen McNiff of Pembroke, and Paul McNiff and his wife, Liz of Weymouth. He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren: Nicholas (Stephanie), Michael (Jessica), and David Hillner, and Maryjane, Patrick, and Paul McNiff. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Harrison, Vivienne, and Hazel Hillner. A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, from 4-7 PM, at McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer Street, COHASSET, MA. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, at 10 AM, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 10 Summer Street, Cohasset, MA, followed by a Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Meeting House Lane, Scituate, MA.
