Leo Spencer Obituary
Leo Spencer, 60, passed away February 23, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family. Leo is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Lisa Williams; their children Bryan Spencer, Scott (Holly) Spencer, Kevin Isaac Spencer and Jewelie Ann (Patrick) Mulderig; 9 grandchildren Luke, Lexi, Logan, Luna, Sophia, Izsabella, Eliana, Elayna and Ethan (Hank the Tank); sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Duncan Fortner; many nieces and nephews. Leo was the youngest of 8 children born to Raymond and Jane Spencer. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one granddaughter Jemma Spencer. Leo worked as a trucker and then at the Vestal Walmart for over 25 years. He enjoyed eating homemade chocolate chip cookies. He hosted weekly family dinners and made the best mashed potatoes. Leo's greatest joy in life was spending time with and being a "Grampy" to his grandchildren.
The family will hold a private celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Lourdes Hospice, 187 Riverside Dr. Binghamton, NY 13905. Cremation arrangements provided by the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home.

I worked with Leo at Akel´s. Always had a great sense of humor and a can do attitude. My condolences to his family.

Leo and I shared almost 20 years working together through the same departments at Walmart. Things won´t be the same without him here. His family will be in my thoughts, you have my condolences.
