Leo Tullius Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ingram Funeral Home - St. Marys on Mar. 2, 2024.
Leo A Tullius, 88, passed away peacefully at home, February 29, 2024, surrounded by his daughters. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Patricia, his daughter Kristi and son Matt. He is survived by his daughters Kim(David), Micki(Jim), Lori(Rich), Jeni(Jason) and Tonya, his pizza sharing daughter in law. His grandchildren, Jason, Nick, Britney, Haleigh, Mitchell, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Tracy, Daniel and Laura will miss him greatly. His great grandchildren include Jadlyn, Emma and Jackson. Christophe Ottevaere, an exchange student from Belgium is his honorary son.
He was in banking most of his life, starting at First Bank as a teller. He worked his way up, learning all facets of banking, and completed his career at First Bank as Head of Data Processing, after setting the bank up to be computerized. He was appointed president of Pleasants County Bank in 1976, retiring in 2000. He continued his career, serving on the board of directors and the loan committee, where his insight will be greatly missed.
He enjoyed golfing, going on cruises and sightseeing in his retirement. He especially enjoyed going to Nevada and spending time with Jeni, basking in the weather and seeing the sights. He walked his dog, Stella for enjoyment, and spoiled her daily. He was an avid reader, making weekly trips to the library. He was a faithful member of St John Catholic Church in St. Marys, and attended Mass frequently. He and Pat supported St Jude Childrens' Hospital for 30 years. Donations to St Jude's in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
Visitation will be held at Ingram Funeral Home, St Marys, WV, Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 2pm until 8pm, followed by rosary at 8pm. At this time, the Funeral Mass is planned for Monday, March 4, at 11am, at St John Church in St Marys, WV. Entombment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park following the mass.
