Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Stephanie McGahey (Joseph) of Waverly, TN; son, Joshua Lee Hooper of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Kayleigh Marie McGahey and Liam Joseph McGahey; siblings, Cheryl Emerson of VA, Danny Hooper (Cathy) of New Johnsonville, TN and John Hooper (Sharon) of Charlotte, TN; He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Leon is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Hooper.
A graveside service will take place at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
