Leonard Carl Clark, son of Leonard H. and Patricia Louise (Braby) Clark, was born at Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on April 8, 1960.
Leonard grew up in Des Moines and moved to Missouri with his family. He then moved to Washington State and later to Mount Ayr, Iowa. Leonard was the father of Stormy Gordon. He lived the remainder of his life in Mount Ayr. Leonard was an animal lover. Leonard enjoyed wrestling and football. Leonard enjoyed taking drives with his younger brother, Douglas, to Des Moines to see family members.
Leonard liked to fish whenever he had the chance to. Leonard was kind-hearted and willing to help someone in need. Leonard will always be remembered for his kind heart to friends, family, and animals and that he was loved by his friends, family, and pets.
Leonard passed away on May 15, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Ray Kirkman and Dwayne Clark.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter Stormy Gordon; siblings Douglas (Jennifer) Clark of Kellerton, IA, Sharon (Mack) McDonald of Des Moines, IA, Kris Kernen of Gravity, IA, and Peggy Johnson of Urbana, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Leonard has been cremated and he will be buried at a later date in the Garden Grove Cemetery in Garden Grove, Iowa.
