Leonard Muniak Obituary
Leonard Muniak (78), beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on March 18, 2023.
He served his Country in the US Navy from 1968-1972. He was a pattern maker for Warner & Swassey and a carpenter for Nagle Manufacturing and retired from the Wade Park VA where he was the supervisor of the carpenter shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Mary Muniak and his sister Dorothy. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan, sons David (Kara) and Richard (Suzie), grandchildren Georgia & Max, brothers Raymond (Barbara), Larry (Margie), and Michael (Diane), and sisters Jean (Roger-Deceased), Rosie (Ron-Deceased), and Betty (Patrick-Deceased) and many nieces and nephews.
He was always trying to make people smile and help out in any way that he could. He was an inventor, a tinkerer, and was able to fix anything he could get his hands on. Leonard's generosity was to be admired.
Visitation is 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd., Brunswick, where funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family on Leonard's guestbook at www.WaiteFuneralHome.com.
