Leonard Michael Potemra

Leonard Michael Potemra, 89, of Madison, OH., formerly of McKeesport passed away Friday, December 6, 2024. He was born in McKeesport on July 31, 1935 to the late Michael and Elizabeth (Toth) Potemra. Len worked as a salesperson at Sears Roebuck for 8 years and as a Manager at Kadar's (men's and boy's clothing store) for 41 years. He was the choir director and assistant organist at the former Holy Trinity Church in McKeesport, PA for 30 years. Organist and music director at St. Stephen Catholic Church for 6 years. Choir member and assistant organist at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church for 6 years in McKeesport, PA., Organist and the Music Director for 12 years at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in West Mifflin, Pa. Leonard is survived by nephews, Tim (Sandy) Majernik, and Gary (Arlene) Majernik; nieces, Michele (Richard) Cramb, and Sheryl (Troy) Wilhelm; great nieces and nephews, TJ, Kenney, Stacy, Heather, Amanda, Victoria, Savannah, Mitch, Diana, Jamie, Scotty, Josh, Brannigan, and Jordan; as well as many great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Len was preceded in death by his sister, Maryann Majernik; brother-in-law, Donald Majernik; and his nephew, Gregory Majernik.
