Leonard F. Prasczewicz, of Hoffman Estates, Bridgeview and Joliet Illinois passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2024, at the age of 51.
Lenny was born on October 16th, 1973, in Chicago and grew up in the northwest suburbs. He graduated from Hoffman Estates High School and went on to complete his degree at Harper College and Winona State University. To say Lenny loved sports is an understatement. Growing up he played soccer, baseball, basketball and football. Football was his passion. Lenny was a scholarship athlete who played football at both universities while earning All-American status at Winona State. This is where he met many of his lifelong friends. Lenny also played professional football in the PIFL for the Minnesota Monsters in 1998.
Lenny’s professional career started when he began working for Levy Restaurants. He started out working special events and traveled across the US to places like Green Bay, Memphis and Louisville. He moved up in the company and held positions such as a warehouse manager and then purchasing manager at the Chicago White Sox Stadium. Lenny enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, taking walks with his fur baby Lenna, playing video games, listening to music and watching college football.
Surviving are his 3 brothers; Greg (Sandy), Mark (Janice) and David (Crissy); 9 Nephews and Nieces; Sydney, Andrew, Shannon, Brendon, Lauren, Connor, Kyra, Logan and Matthew. He will be missed!
