Leonard Ray Quaid, a Wynnewood resident, was born on November 3, 1951, to James "Jack" Glenn Sr. and Christine (Bailey) Quaid, at Coalgate, Oklahoma. He passed away on May 11, 2024, at his home in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 8 days. Leonard began attending school in Ashland then went to Kiowa High School and graduated there in 1970. He was a plumber for the State of Oklahoma for 32 years. Leonard served in the 45th Infantry Army National Guard as a sergeant from May 16, 1970 to May 15, 1976. He was married to Valla Kay (Hurley) Wells. Leonard was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Leonard enjoyed dancing, playing shuffle board, Poker and Texas Hold 'Em.

Daughter: Sherry Harris and husband Chris of Wynnewood, OK
Son: Angus Quaid of Yukon, OK
Sisters: Patty Quaid Valdez and husband Tommy of McAlester, OK and Peggy Quaid Cosgrove and husband Travis of Arpelar, OK
Along with numerous nieces, nephews & grandchildren
