Lucy Quaid Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Ann Moore Quaid will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service time. Interment will follow at Minden Cemetery.
Lucy was born June 4, 1935, in Winnfield, Louisiana to Thomas and Hazel Robertson Moore. She passed away on April 6, 2025, in Minden, Louisiana with her loving family by her side.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Ray Quaid, grandson Adam Smolenski, siblings Ethel Roberts, Bette Lary and husband Gene, Gloria Curry, Tommy Moore, Helen Roberts, George Moore, Fred Moore, and Peggy Burge and husband Bo, and niece JoAnna R. Reeve.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughters; Joni McFarland and husband Tom, Bobbi Smolenski and husband Gerald, and Kelly Quaid O’Rear and husband Lane, grandchildren; Wade Reeves and wife Sarah, Lauri Burkhalter and husband James, Bert Burkhalter, Casey Quaid and wife Susan, and Asa Smolenski and wife Tiffani, 7 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Odell Roberts, sister-in-law Valley Moore, and by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Minden Medical Center, and Magnolia Home Health.
