Leonard Sexton, 86, of Warsaw, died peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Miller’s Merry Manor, with family at his side.
Born in Pikeville, Kentucky, on January 21, 1939, he was the beloved son of George and Risse (Burchfield) Sexton. He was one of thirteen brothers and sisters, which made for plenty of excitement in the home.
Leonard was a commercial truck driver most of his life until retirement. He enjoyed finding unique items at estate auctions. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially while fishing. Leonard loved telling stories to anyone who would listen. He will be remembered for his work ethic and kindness by all who knew him.
Leonard is survived by his daughters Kathy (Randy) Garris Marshall and Deb (Mark) Alexander, both of Warsaw, 7 grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter.
A Celebration of Life for Leonard will be held at a later date.
