Leonard H. Shaver, Jr., 81, of Lee County, GA, passed away at his residence on October 8, 2025. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Leesburg Cemetery. Ross Powell will officiate. Military Honors will be provided.
Leonard was born in Albany, GA on May 22, 1944 to the late Leonard and Mary Shaver, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of this area and graduated from Lee County High School in 1963. Leonard served his country in The United Sates Army during Vietnam.
Leonard was employed with A T & T for over thirty-seven years before he retired. He was a member of The First Baptist Church of Leesburg and enjoyed hunting, fishing and snow skiing.
Survivors include his wife, Ada Janelle” Jan” Clifton and his daughter, Deena Webb both of Lee County, GA, his sisters, Leone (Byron) Haire of Valdosta, GA and Pam (Charlie) Hayes of Macon, GA, his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hodge (Trevor) of Tuscumbia, AL, Justin (Cailee) Webb and Austin (Kristi) Webb all of Lee County, GA and his great-grandchildren, Saylor, Callan, Gunnar, Ashlynn, Eli, Riley and Sutton.
The family will receive friends following the service.
