On October 4, 2025 at 93 years young, Mrs. Elise Parham Breedlove stepped into her eternity with Jesus. Her 93 years were filled with adventure and love. She was always ready for a trip-either to Hobby Lobby or zip lining while visiting the Ark at the age of 87. She just loved being with her family most of all. No services will be held at this time.
Mrs. Breedlove was born at home in Shellman, GA on July 29, 1932 to Roy and Lollie Parham. She grew up there and graduated from Shellman High School. She continued her education at Andrew College where she met her future husband, James B. “Jim” Breedlove. They married from 1952 and until his death in 2010. Together they raised two children, Ken and Evelyn.
Her home was her life’s work and she loved every minute! Mrs. Breedlove was a member of The First Baptist Church of Albany and the Adult 7 Sunday School Class. She began her married life in Cuthbert, GA, raised her family in Baconton, GA and retired to the farm in Randoph County until moving in with her daughter, Evelyn, in 2010. Mrs. Breedlove was an accomplished seamstress, embroider and terrific cook. She loved the Christmas Season and would work yearlong making special presents and crafts for her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kenneth James Breedlove (Sandra), Evelyn Breedlove Woods (the late David Woods), a sister, Linda Parham of Ideal, GA, her grandchildren, Mandy Northcutt (Andre), Danyel Scroggins (Heath), Brandon Breedlove, Haley Mock and her great-grandchildren, Hannah, Zoey, Taelor (Bryson), Wade, Harley and Thea.
Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Mrs. Breedlove to The First Baptist Church of Albany, 145 Oakland Parkway, Leesburg, GA, 31763.
