With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Leonardo Orallo Alontave on October 12, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born on October 9, 1954, in Quezon City, Philippines, Leonardo graduated from Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School in 1971. He later earned a degree in Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco.
Leonardo married Teresita Pangilinan in Los Angeles, and they renewed their vows in 2013. They shared 25 loving years together until Teresita’s passing later that year.
Leonardo's career in IT included roles as a program manager and systems analyst. He served as an Information Technology Specialist for the State of California for 20 years, retiring in April 2022.
Leonardo loved playing chess, was passionate about photography, and was a talented cook. He also enjoyed collecting charming vintage watches. He is fondly remembered by everyone for his wonderful sense of humor, generosity, and kind heart.
Remaining to cherish Leonardo’s memory are his daughter Julianne, his sisters Zenaida, Ofelia, Elizabeth, and Maria Theresa, and his brothers Jesusimo and Arnulfo.
