Leonardo Hernandez was born on October 5, 1947, in Vallehermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Surrounded by his loving family, he passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025.
On March 2, 1970, he married the love of his life, Rosa Elva. By the end of 1974, they both dedicated their lives to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ-a decision that shaped the rest of their journey together.
Affectionately known as Nayo, he was a man of great warmth, humor, and unwavering friendship. His witty stories and cherished anecdotes brought laughter and light to everyone around him. His presence will be deeply missed.
As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Leonardo lived with contagious enthusiasm and a steadfast faith. His life was rooted in service-to God, to his family, and to his church. He brought comfort, wisdom, and joy to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His loving embrace and thoughtful words will remain etched in our hearts.
Leonardo is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa Elva; his children, Leonardo Jr. and Aracely; his son-in-law, Axel Cristales; and his treasured grandchildren, Axel Jr. and Aliyah Milan. He is also survived by his sister, Consuelo Hernandez; his brothers, Felipe and Vinicio Hernandez; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Leonardo Hernández nació el 5 de octubre de 1947 en la ciudad de Vallehermoso, Tamaulipas, México. Rodeado de su amorosa familia, falleció pacíficamente el 22 de mayo de 2025.
El 2 de marzo de 1970 se casó con el amor de su vida, Rosa Elva. A finales de 1974, ambos dedicaron sus vidas a su Señor y Salvador, Jesucristo, fue una decisión que dio forma al resto de sus vidas juntos.
Conocido cariñosamente como Nayo, era un hombre de gran calidez, humor y amistad inquebrantable. Sus ingeniosas historias y anécdotas entrañables hacían reír y arrojar luz a todos los que le rodeaban. Echaremos mucho de menos su presencia.
Como esposo, padre y abuelo devoto, Leonardo vivió con un entusiasmo contagioso y una fe inquebrantable. Su vida estaba basada en el servicio a Dios, a su familia y a su iglesia. Trajo consuelo, sabiduría y gozo a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Su abrazo amoroso y sus palabras reflexivas permanecerán grabadas en nuestros corazones.
A Leonardo le sobreviven su amada esposa, Rosa Elva; sus hijos, Leonardo Jr. y Aracely; su yerno, Axel Cristales; y sus queridos nietos, Axel Jr. y Aliyah Milan. También le sobreviven su hermana, Consuelo Hernández; sus hermanos, Felipe y Vinicio Hernández; junto con muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y miembros de la familia extendida.
