Leonardo Martinez Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florinda and Luciano Q. Martinez Sr.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Martinez-King and spouse, Michael King, of Kingsville; a grandson, Michael Ray King; two brothers, Luciano Martinez Jr. (Prissy), of San Diego; and Roberto Martinez, of Corpus Christi; one sister, Eloisa Martinez McShane, of Dallas; nieces, Kayla McShane; Sabrina and Chelsy Martinez; nephews, Timothy McShane Jr. and Edward Rodriguez; and good friends; Janet Pike and Mike McCorkle.
He was a self-employed tire service operator and heavy haul engineer for 32 years for Whitey Patton Trucking. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17 from 5pm-7pm at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral service will be at 1oam on Wednesday, October 18 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Hilltop Cemetery in Tilden, Texas.
