Leonel Silva Flores

Leonel Silva Flores, 64 of Plainview, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Holy Rosary being recited at 6:00pm on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Service will be at 10:00am, Friday, February 20, 2026, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home.

Leonel was born in Mexico, to Domitilio Silva and Francisca Flores-Silva. He married Maria Nieves Cedillo, she passed away on December 7, 2020. Leonel worked for Western Ag for more than 10 years; he retired in 2014.

Leonel enjoyed fishing, tending to his garden, and listening to music. He also loved to care for his cats, cows, and animals. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Leonel is survived by his three sons, Oscar Ramos Cedillo (Norma Guerrero Cedillo), Edgar Cedillo Silva, and Leonel Silva Cedillo (Elisa Andrus) all of Plainview; his daughter, Rosa Silva Cedillo of Plainview; two brothers, Gilberto Silva and Martin Silva both of Mexico; five sisters, Olivia Silva, Silvia Silva, Margarita Silva, Carola Silva, and Guadalupe Silva all of Mexico; five grandchildren, Giselle and Nayely Gonzalez and Aidee Maria, Damaris, and Elias Mateo Silva.

Leonel Silva Flores, de 64 años, de Plainview, falleció el martes 17 de febrero de 2026. Se celebrará una velatoria de 4:00pm a 8:00pm, con un Santo Rosario recitado a las 6:00pm, el jueves 19 de febrero de 2026 en la Capilla Conmemorativa Lemons. El servicio funerario se celebrará a las 10:00am, el viernes 20 de febrero de 2026 en la Capilla Conmemorativa Lemons. El entierro tendrá lugar después en el cementerio Kress. Los arreglos funerarios están a cargo de Lemons Funeral Home.

Leonel nació en México, hijo de Domitilio Silva y Francisca Flores-Silva. Se casó con María Nieves Cedillo, quien falleció el 7 de diciembre de 2020. Leonel trabajó para Western Ag durante más de 10 años; se jubiló en 2014.

Leonel disfrutaba de la pesca, cuidar su jardín y escuchar música. También le encantaba cuidar de sus gatos, vacas y animales. Le encantaba especialmente pasar tiempo con sus nietos.

Leonel deja en vida a sus tres hijos, Oscar Ramos Cedillo (Norma Guerrero Cedillo), Edgar Cedillo Silva y Leonel Silva Cedillo (Elisa Andrus), todos ellos de Plainview; su hija, Rosa Silva Cedillo, de Plainview; dos hermanos, Gilberto Silva y Martín Silva, ambos de México; cinco hermanas, Olivia Silva, Silvia Silva, Margarita Silva, Carola Silva y Guadalupe Silva, todas de México; cinco nietos, Giselle y Nayely González y Aidee María, Damaris y Elías Mateo Silva.
