Donna, Texas - Leonel Zamora, 74, passed away to be with the Lord on February 25, 2024 peacefully at his residence.
Mr.Zamora was born on July 2, 1949 in Donna, TX. to Mr. Santiago Zamora & Mrs. Lorenza Matamoros.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his brothers Francisco Zamora and Thomas Zamora.
Leonel Zamora is survived by his wife Alicia Zamora, his sons; Leonel Zamora Jr., Joseph Zamora, and Michael Zamora, his daugher Olivia Zamora (Adrian Rojas), his brother Rolando Zamora and Santiago Zamora Jr., his sisters; Herminia Guerrero, Maria Z. Bustamante, Oralia Altamerano, Guadalupe Castillo, Gracila Bustamante, Lorena Mercado, Beatrice Trejo and Aida Ramirez Zamora and 4 granchildren.
Visitation for Leonel Zamora is scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of Grace. A Funeral Mass is scheduled on Thursday, February 29,2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. As per his wishes, Mr. Zamora will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
