Leonila Gutiérrez nació el 10 de noviembre de 1950 en Durango, México. Ella fue ama de casa que siempre estaba al tanto de su familia. Leonila era una persona humilde y siempre tenía las puertas abiertas para sus familiares y amigos. Le gustaba ayudar a todas las personas que podía ayudar. Le gustaba cocinar, especialmente tamales, y compartir su comida con los demás. Pero sobre todo su familia era lo más importante para ella. Siempre habrá un gran vació en nuestros corazones. Se le extrañara mucho.
Leonila es precedida en muerte por su hija Silvia Gutiérrez Molina. Que en paz descansen.
Los que quedan para honrar y celebrar su memoria son su esposo, José Carmen Gutiérrez, hijos, Silvia Alvarado, Marisela De Santiago y esposo, Ector De Santiago, Evelia Gutiérrez y esposo, Jacinto Barajas, María Blanca Gutiérrez y esposo Antonio Castillo, Flor Del Roció Gutiérrez; y veintitrés nietos, ocho bisnietos y una gran cantidad de amigos.
